About Me
Hello! My name is Kellen Jenkins. I am a year 3 student from Chemeketa Community College. Deep down I love to learn and explore what the world has to offer. I have many deep-rooted passions, including music, nature, animals, drag, weightlifting, and more. I love embracing my passions by photographing, supporting, and giving back to my community.
The way that light interacts with objects is amazing to me. There could be texture, softness, dramatic, the shadows, the color of light, and also the difference in material that's photographed. One of my favorite things to is shine light through glass, lace, and do long exposures to get aesthetic blurs over a subject with rear curtain flash.
Artist Statement
I draw my inspirations for photography/art from music, nature, dreams and things I'm passionate about. I love art that makes you feel something and I really strive to capture that. In essence I feel that art is the most definitive thing that defines us as humans, it's important to hold onto this. Embrace your flaws and the things that define you, it certainly looks better than AI.
